I have had a bad experience in the past and now I always request to see Rodney and as usual the appointment was perfect. I have also since recommended a friend who has had a few issues with her current opticians to request to see him.

The Optometrist, Declan, was very good and explained things really well. However my appointment was for 2pm and whilst the assistant did the very quick initial tests straightaway I then had to wait until 2.40 to see Declan. I believe they were short staffed, and about 2.20 the assistant did apologise for the delay, but after waiting another 20 minutes I'd just decided to cut my loses and leave when fortunately I was called through for the full eye examination. I do think it would have been better had I been phoned earlier and given the opportunity to rearrange the appointment,or at least warned of such a delay when I arrived at the shop. I had my elderly mother waiting downstairs in the store for me and my dog in the car,both having to wait an extra 40 minutes, which is no joke.
